I really don't know where all this Animorphs fanart is coming from. I should be working on my own stories.

Aldrea and Dak. My favorite couple in the Animorphs universe by far. My heart ached for them both when I read their book at like age 13. I think Dak's telling her a story, and she's probably half-listening to his voice and half to his heart(s?)beat. (I don't remember if Hork-Bajir had more than one heart.)

I realized a little late that Dak has too many fingers/toes. Screw it!! I think only three fingers/toes looks goofy anyway.
I cleverly hid most of Aldrea's hand in Dak's armpit... ehehehehehe.

The primary purpose of this was to fart around with my markers/colored pencils. I like how it turned out, but it's kind of a lot to look at... I need to work on my skills. I kinda figured it out as I went... little sloppy in some places. Probably would have been less so if I hadn't done it all in one sitting... my hand was aching by the end of it. Still took me forever. And the scanner still dulled the colors considerably.

If I do not get a job this summer (grr economy), I was thinking I might do commissions again-- once I figure out how people should pay me and how to get them prints of the piece (I know there's a Kinko's around here somewhere). If those things ever happen, would anyone be interested in a piece something like this? And what would you be willing to pay for it?
