okies, i'll just go scrounge up his old bio from Pashers, it should tell ya all the basics...Get set for this cause there's a HUUUUGE history here...

Story:He comes from a very old and very well off magical family who descended from the norse and became the McCurey's when their family settled in scotland about two hundred years ago. But the McCureys are very haughty, for one particular reason. They have always carried a gene that allows them a dragon form from birth. Some of them don't posses the ability, but they are still carriers of the gene and may produce heirs with the ability. The family's dragon forms can be Wyvern, dragon, or a mix. Lachlin is a mix. Only in recent generations has the family become a lot less haughty and willing to mix more in the wizarding world (they didn't care about the purity of anyone elses blood but their own before, everyone was beneathe them in their opinion, so they had equality values to some degree XD)
Lachlin's Father is a very important person in their race (Dracomanus live in every continent and there's basically one family per country) he is known as the Aurum, the gold dragon who is the sovreign of the world population. The Aurum's status does not travel through a family, it is born into any random Dracomanus family. There is of course only ever one reigning at any given time. If an Aurum dies before the next one is old enough to rule, the Argentus (pure silver dragon) caretakes the responsibility. There's also a council of elder dragons usually consisting of the same powerful ranks that pass through the dracomanus race in a random fashion as opposed to genetically.
Lachlin is an acception to the whole 'born with a certain dragon colour form means a particular rank' thing. Oh he has a rank, but its not a colouring that has been seen since the very first Dracomanus came about (and thats a whooooole nother story). Lachlin;s Dragon form is known as 'The Lithium' and he has a very specific duty. But we'll get to that.
Both his mother and father can turn into dragons. His father of course was a dracomanus, but his mother was just a normal witch, she learnt to become a dragon as an animagus out of love. 'Course this was highly unorthadox for an Aurum, they expect their high king figure to take a noble Dracomanette as a mate. But its not forbidden so yea.
So then there's the MUTT. His name is Rohnas and his title is 'the Heamatitus' due to his metalic grey scales and blood red highlights (he's also a red-head) his origins are quite mixed, its rumoured he is part pure dragon, which is unfounded, and it needs to stay that way because Dracomanus law is explicit on this point; that Dracomanus must never mate with pure natural dragons because the offspring of such a union or abominations. They are vicious, much more intelligent than ordinary dragons and much more aggresive and bloodthirsty. If One of these abominations is in Rohnas' close ancestry it means the law was broken without punishment (ooo naughty naughty) HOWEVER despite his shady past heis one exceptionally powerful Dracomanus. He's also exceptionally clever, but his strong views clash with those of the elders, and despite his high ranking form (the Heamatitus is generally appointed cheif warrior of the council ) he was dismissed from position and took violent action with those who backed him and believe his views about the Dracomanus race subjugating normal witches and wizards and humans.

Now Lachy's Grandparents were WITH the Heamtitus' views and were killed fighting for him. This in turn made his father and uncle bitterly against Rohnas. However, more recently, Rohnas attacked The Aurum's houshold and both Lachlin's father and mother dissapeared in the attack ( though they managed to hide him from Rohnas and he wasn't taken).
Lachlin lives with his jaded Uncle who is bitter about his grandparents abandoning him to die for Rohnas and for his brother's dissapearance fighting said tyrant. He is gruff and not particularly affectionate, but deep down he cares a lot for Lachlin.
Lachlin's uncle is also bitter about his blood heritage, he has a very powerful dragon form, but he doesn't like to use it at all costs (he is 'The Mercury', who is always the chief guardian of the Aurum, its just a coincidence that the Aurum is his brother) deep down he feels a terrible guilt for failing to keep his brother safe. He knows and the council knows that Rohnas is not an easy enemy to guard against, bt they too are dissapointed in him so far.
Lachlin is ever eager to use his dragon form more often and refine his powers, but he has had instilled in him by his parents and uncle especially, the need to keep his power a secret. Such power can only make him a prominent target. The title of The Lithium has been prophecised amoung his race, and his expected role is as the leader who ranks above all other Dracomanus (even the Aurum) and will lead an army against the tyrant within their society before he manages to spread his abominable views and practices beyond their race into the wider world.
So Lachlin is slightly antisocial, because he's never had friends, has been taught to keep his power secret, has been raised knowing he is very different. o'course all this changed when he went to Pashers school.
He met plenty of other not so normal magical beings/kids, and realised he could both have friends and keep his secret. He has certainly had some interesting adventures on that forum, whats more he has a girlfriend who can acutely understand his situation, because she's got the same sorta deal amoung her own people, cause she's whats known as he Tamer (but thats all 's story ;D they intertwine )

However, through a quite different character in the form of Lorrelli Meekings, the shapeshifting instructor at pashers, Lachlin gets mixed up in other peoples enemies and their grudges, and unfortunately one of Lorrelli's enemies (a demoness named Rath, cause Lorrelli is also a minion of the grim reaper and has to cull demons regularly, that her universe appointed lot in life) seeks out rohnas for revenge on Lorrelli and Lachlin, and he finds Lachlin hidden away in this private dimension where the school is located and captured him.

Lachlin finds out, when captured by Rohans, that his parents are still alive (they were never sure, they'd been missing for over two years now) except Rohnas is a sick twisted bastard and uses them to blackmail lachlin into doing some unspeakable things. Appart from being horribly tortured, Lachlin is used in Rohnas' master-plan experiments and forced to mate with several pure dragon females, from which Rohnas wants to breed the offspring to base his super-deadly army on. Lachlin knows full well Rohnas wanted HIM because he was supposed to be the one to bring Rohnas down, but rather than killl lachlin he's content with catching him before he's even reached adulthood and break him right then. He very nearly does too. Some seriously messed up shit goes down in the dungeons of Rohnas' fortress. But Lachy's Pashers friends save him (along with his Uncle who feels even more the failure for not being able to stop Rohnas capturing his nephew) and currently he's back at pashers having his near death experience cause as a parting gift appart from 'killing' lachy's parents in front of him ( he didn't really but he wants lachy to think they're dead) he split his human form from his dragon form... which is fatal for a Dracomanus unless they can be remerged before it's too late. I have much of the story past whats down at the forum planned out, but the forum kinda died so it may not get written D:
His pupils also shine silver in both day and night, but its not noticeable in the day. All Dracomanus have glowing eyes constantly and they can see souls. Most people's pupils have white lights in them to Dracomus, and those that are black make them shudder cause it either means the person is dead or has no soul.

anywho... feels good to get all that off my brain. so much fictional fact is stored in my head and i rarely get a chance to actually put it down in writting anywhere
